In a previous article, I discussed Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. It is a 13 week course that teaches you to achieve your financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future and being able to give to others.
There are a number of classes starting in the area in the coming weeks. Click here for information on dates and locations of upcoming classes. The first lesson is free, all you have to do is register for it. After completing the first lesson you will be given the opportunity to purchase your lifetime membership which includes the rest of the FPU lessons and class materials. Once you purchase the membership which is about $100 it allows you to attend the course as many times during your lifetime as you want without any further fees.
When searching for upcoming classes I found 20 opportunities in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Along with Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo there are also offerings in Horace, Harwood and Kindred.
I have not personally attended the classes but I have followed Dave Ramsey extensively the past few years and he teaches finances in down to earth way that is easy to follow.
