Tip Of The Day – Cleaning
Each week, I will offer up a tip in regards to cleaning, organizing, recycling …… something that I feel will help you in your daily lives. I come across so much information and I’ve decided it’s time to share it with the masses. I hope you’ll find something useful each week.
This weeks tip is something that I thought everyone knew about. While I was at my son’s baseball game the other night, I mentinoed this to another mother and she had never heard of it.
That’s when the lightbulb went off and I knew I had to share this with others.
Did you know that if you have a spill on a countertop, that has stained it, (think red Kool-Aid) baking soda will take it off? All you have to do is sprinkle about a teaspoon of baking soda on the area, rub it in, in a circular motion, and voila, the stain is gone. This works so much easier and quicker than trying to scrub it out with soap or one of those “spot” cleaning products out there. It’s a heck of a lot cheaper too!
Give it a try the next time you have a stained countertop and let me know if it works for you.
