If you’re interested in swimming outdoors in the Fargo-Moorhead area, read on!  Those lazy days of summer are almost here and the Fargo-Moorhead area has plenty of swimming holes to jump in and cool off at.  June 21^st marks the first day of summer and is quickly approaching.  Here is a list of the pools in our area.  Check out one or more, this summer, and have some fun in the sun!  Most of these are open June 7^th through August 15^th .  PS: Don’t forget your sunscreen!

FARGO:

Island Park Pool @ 616 1^st Ave. S. Fargo #(701)235-7685 – This facility has 3 pools and concessions are available.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Madison Pool & Splash Pad @ 1040 29^th St. N. Fargo #(701)232-5726 – This neighborhood facility has a small wading pool and a small swimming pool, along with a zero depth splash pad!
Northside Recreational Pool @ 8^th St. & 19^th Ave. N. Fargo #(701)446-2437 – This recreational pool has a large waterslide and a zero depth area with a playground and small waterslide.  Concessions are available.

Southwest Recreational Pool @ 18^th St. & 15^th Ave. S. Fargo #(701)235-4093 – This pool includes a large waterslide, a zero depth swimming area with a two tiered playground, plus waterdrop mushrooms.  Concessions are available.

Municipal Pool @ 800 19^th St. S. Moorhead #(218)299-5364 – This facility has 3 pools; two wading pools and a large pool with a waterslide and diving  board area. **This pool is handicap accessible.

POOL POLICIES
Weather Policy:
The Fargo pools will be open and outdoor lessons held when the air temperature is 65 degrees F and above. In case of inclement weather call 298-6915.  Moorhead pools will be open when the temperature is 60 degrees and sunny or 65 degrees and cloudy.

Diaper Policy:
All children who wear diapers are required to wear WATERPROOF DIAPERS at all Fargo-Moorhead pools. This policy is for everyone’s safety.
