This past weekend, my family and I attended my husband’s tri-yearly family reunion.  I was in charge of bringing a dessert to share.  I was a little nervous because his family is full of some great cooks.  I pulled out an old recipe I hadn’t made in years.  It is so simple, but I received rave reviews.  My only problem came when I was asked to share the recipe with everyone.  I was a bit embarrassed because it only contains four easy ingredients and I really felt like I was sort of cheating by bringing it.

After I shared the recipe they were first amazed at how easy the recipe was and how fast it could be thrown together but then took the time to compliment me further on finding such a great tasting recipe that took half the time to prepare than most of their dishes did.

So, here it is.  Enjoy it this summer.  It’s perfect for any hot summer day.  It cools things right off.

Ingredients:
8 oz Cool Whip
16 oz Cass Clay Strawberry Yogurt
2 – 10 oz boxes of frozen strawberries
half a bag of miniature marshmallows

That’s right, that’s it!  Just mix it all together (be sure to drain most of the juice from the frozen strawberries once they’ve thawed) and you’re done!!  Refridgerate overnight and bring it to your table the next day and prepare to amaze!

Just a side note:  you can substitute frozen raspberries for the strawberries if your family likes them better.
