Finally Closed the Building Process of Our New Home in the Moorhead Area

Submitted by on October 19, 2009 – 9:39 pmNo Comment

After a long wait we finally closed on our new house last Thursday.  If any of you have been following it has been a long time coming.  A week ago, our builder Chris from Bachmeier Custom Homes allowed us to sign a renters agreement and move in.  All this time we were waiting on the appraisal to be corrected.  At the end of this process and 9 appraisals later we close our construction loan and move into permanent financing.  The appraisal today has a square footage of the house bigger than our floor plan and a appraisal value $335.00 less than the purchase price of the home.

If your business or you personally are looking to get an appraisal done, please do not call Dareld Koziol from Wahpeton, ND.  This man can not measure correctly or add numbers in a computer.  I apologize for being so harsh, but it is a little ridiculous when you have to wait 3 weeks and still get an incorrect appraisal.

We are so excited to be in our new home.  It is truly a dream come true.  This has been a fun process until the end with all the waiting.  With all the stories you hear about the building process, we never had one to tell.  I would recommend Chris Bachmeier to anyone.  He is easy to work with, and does his best to make all parties in the building process happy.  This is the kind of person you want to work with when you make big decisions like building your new home.

Thank you all for following our building process.  We wish you the best in building your new home in the Fargo Moorhead Area.
