Do you like to take photographs? Here’s your chance to show off your photography skills while entering the Fargo Park District’s Community Photo Contest! The contest starts July 26 and ends August 31. There are several different contest categories:

1. Best Action Photo

2. Best Landscape Photo

3. Best Historic Photo

4. Best “Wild Card” Photo (anything that doesn’t fit the above categories)

Guidelines:

1. Please e-mail photo entries as JPEG files at 300 dpi to photocontest@fargoparks.com, or burn them to a CD and mail it to:

2. Include an entry form with each photo entry.

3. You may use any type of camera . If you use a film camera, your entries must still be

submitted digitally as JPEG files by email (photocontest@fargoparks.com) or on a CD.

Rules:

1. You may enter as many photos as you like in each category.

2. No age restrictions apply. This contest is open to everyone!

3. All photos become the property of the Fargo Park District and may be used in the future for promotional purposes.

4. Photos must be taken in Fargo at a park, recreation trail or Park District facility. You don’t have to live in Fargo to enter.

5. Close-up photos of youth ages 18 and under must have parental permission, and a photo release

form must be signed and mailed to our office. The form is included on the Entry Form and is available online at www.fargoparks.com. YOU MUST SUBMIT A PHOTO RELEASE FORM FOR

EACH PHOTO WITH YOUTH 18 & UNDER.

DEADLINE TO ENTER: August 31st. Judges decision is final. Winners will be announced on the Fargo Parks website at www.fargoparks.com by September 7th.

PRIZES: Each winner will receive a $25 Fargo Park District gift card, and the winning photos will be posted online at www.fargoparks.com. Good luck !!
