coats-for-kidsIt’s hard to think about taking out winter coats, mittens, etc. this time of the year, but if you do, you’ll be taking part in a wonderful campaign!

Hutch’s Coats For Kids kicks off this coming Monday, July 20th and runs through Friday, August 14th.  This is a good time to clean out your closets, of those coats that won’t fit your growing kids this coming winter season, and donate them to a very worthy cause.  KVLY, in conjunction with MeritCare and Camelot Cleaners, is once again accepting donations of gently-used children’s winter coats, snowsuits, caps, scarves, mittens and boots!   The beauty of this program is that everything will be cleaned and donated to children in need.

If you wish to make a financial donation to the campaign, you can send a check or money order to:

              Coats for Kids/KVLY

                    Box 1878

                 Fargo, ND   58107

There are numerous drop-off sites in the Fargo Moorhead area so it should be easy to find one close to you.  There are also numerous surrounding communities taking part in this campain as well so check below for specific information.

Do your part to help out those children in need, from within your own community.   Times are tough right now for so many families and the time you take to donate something, that is no longer of use to your family, will put a smile on the face of a child from another family!
