Having Brick or Stone was the decision to make now for the exterior design.  There was some additional stone left over at a project that was offered to Chris from Bachmeier Custom Homes at a deal, so in return Chris offered this deal to us. 

Originally, we had picked out the brick “Harbor Town” from Hebron Brick.  I loved how the brick accented the Pebble Clay Siding we chose.  The stone was dropped by the house for us to see.  We love the stone and are going to take Chris up on his deal.  I think the stone will dress up the house a little bit more and add to the neighborhood nicely.  The stone will be on the front of the garage and the steps to the front door.  In addition, we will use any excess stone to build a mailbox.  The stone follows the brown tones so I think it will blend nicely with the Pebble Clay siding.  I included a picture for you to see. 

The walls of the house are coming up fast.  They started putting up the plywood walls today.  Chris said they should have the walls completed and the Tyvek paper on the house by the end of the week, weather permitting.  I will hope for the sun to shine.
