A Fargo-Moorhead Hot Spot… The Hub

3365671464_702922fdaa_mHey Fargo-Moorhead, looking for a night out on the town, without the hassle of driving to different places. The Hub is the place for you. The Hub, formerly Playmakers, is located at 2525 9th Ave. S, Fargo. Their hours are Monday – Friday: 4 pm – 2 am, Sat: 11 am – 2 am, Sun: 11 am – 12 am. They house seven different destination spots, from upscale to country bar, each with their own style and flair.

Check out the Monkey Bar and it’s modern rock and roll jungle. You are sure to have a wild time at the Monkey Bar, but keep in mind that it is closed on Wednesday Night. Looking for a place that is not so wild? Forbidden is the spot to meet for drinks with co-workers after a long day at the office. There is plenty of space to relax and visit in Forbidden’s Asian style atmosphere. Feel like kicking up your heels? Head on down to the Cadillac Ranch, the Hub’s Country Bar and Dance Hall.

The Prime Steakhouse and Ultra Lounge is the perfect destination for a quiet night out. The menu boasts a variety of steaks, baked alaskan salmon, and deux poulets. The Ultra Lounge offers at least 2 dozen martini choices, from Key Lime Pie to Blues Booster.

The Vibe, closed Monday and Tuesday, is the dancing hotspot. The Hub Club, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, is the sports bar that offers numerous drink and food specials.

My favorite location at the Hub is The Venue, which hosts a variety of concert events. Brat Pack Radio is a must-see event for all of you thirty-somethings at The Venue on July 31st. Tickets are available on-line.

The Monkey Bar Rocks. The girls and I love the place. The food and desserts you can get at the Hub are outstanding. When we get enough rock and roll we more on to the next part of the hub. Check out the Asian place too.
