CHECK OUT THIS LINK FOR 21012 EVENT INFORMATION!

529 Friday is a celebration of saving for higher education.  Anyone with children knows the expense that our children will be

facing when the time comes to start looking for a college.  Cost of admission will most likely be one of the key points that you’ll be looking at to decide what you and your child can afford.  529 Friday is an opportunity to learn about ways to save for college and the best part is, you can enjoy a day at the zoo for FREE and come away with some really good information.

This event will be held at the Red River Zoo on Friday, June 4 from 10a-7p.  You, along with your children, will be able to look at the animals, participate in activities, enjoy a carousel ride on the beautifully restored carousel and more.  There will be animal shows at 11:30a, 1:30p, 3:30p and 5:30p.  At 4p, you’ll have the chance to win some great prizes, such as $529 to be used for college, from Bank of North Dakota, a mini laptop, an iPod Nano and other great prizes.

So take the time on this day to stop by the zoo to learn more about the 529 Plan, a tax advantaged savings plan designed to encourage savings for future college plans, take in the beautiful scenery and learn more about saving for an education for your child’s future.

Check this out for further events happening in the Fargo Moorhead area.
